The news is true.

Mr Ryan has never been shy to make his opinions on Boards.ie known and they weren't always favourable. However, like him or not, he was a respected broadcaster and his passing is an unhappy occurance. I would ask that people show some class and respect to the man and his family and friends - especially here in AH where we're no stranger to heated debate.

Our thoughts are with his family.
