When you die, you take nothing with you... No house, no car, no booze and no money!

Life is short! Enjoy it to the fullest!

I would disagree, if you're sensible with money you could have far greater fortune by having that 10% available to you to invest in ideas etc. So credit union is ok as you can access it, but stuff like pension schemes and the likes I mean

Don't look back on Anger....................... or Wonderwall are the best of their songs son, everything else is just alright.

I would also tell my children to live life to the fullest but watch your money

ya but if iv 10c in my pocket i spend it- money burns a hole in my pocket! Hence it works for me, and if my genes are anything to go by(family of alcos, gambleres) my poor kids should heed that advice

I've done it already with my 5 year old: Learn to play a musical instrument.
(Oh and don't give your kids Irish names...I want to be able to pronounce and spell my grandkids names. It always feels like parallel(sic) parking a Hummer on a busy street to me).

DON'T Take the Leaving Cert too seriously.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    You were watching Friends?

My advice to my son, going on his first date (can't think of a better word), would be: Beer before you lick her, not as bitter.
