actually it was 6. I was torn between it and 3 but in the end i liked 6 better, it's a more rounded and well balanced number. 3 has a tendency to go a bit mad sometimes

Actually, I chose 6 cos it is half my fave number, 12, which has half as many divisors as its value, i.e. 6, which is a perfect number!
