The Tomorrow Corporation games are available today. Today's PR is going to be pretty decent. I'll be buying a few of the Wii U discounts. The PR isn't out yet but I can tell you that there are some tasty discounts coming for Wii U eShop games. Runbow, Duck Tales Remastered, Axiom Verge, Terraria, SteamWorld Heist, Oddworld: New n' Tasty, Severed, Affordable Space Adventures, Stealth Inc. 2, Jotun: Valhalla Edition, Resident Evil: Revelations to name just a few. They're all half price or better except for Axiom Verge and Jotun: Valhalla Edition though the latter isn't far off half price.

Also, on VC we're getting 2 Konami TurboGFX titles, Dungeon Explorer and Neutopia.

Make sure you have a US account (easily done, just read back a page or so in this thread).

All the $50s and $20s were gone from play-asia yesterday so I had to get a $10 and a $35 for Isaac.

Where does it show if they are in or out of stock?

Looks like they are back in stock. There was a message a few days ago saying that they would have new stock on March 23rd.

It looks like they're in stock.
Do you mean it looks like they are in stock, and then when you actually pay they tell they are out?

Yeah they told me after buying they don't have enough to fulfill the order, ****ty way to do things, I went with the 2 $20 so the others might not be sold out

Looks like some cards are OK and some are not. Maybe it was just bad timing?

$20 cards are now showing a 1w delay.

$50 cards seem to be OK.

If I buy Isaac using a second account set up for the US, do I need to use this 2nd account friend code if we wanna do the online competition thing (i.e. where you can compare you score to others etc) ?
And will other who have purchased in the same way then need to post their 2nd friend code ?
If so, we should post them in the friend code thread.

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,123 ✭✭✭✭Star Lord

Nope, you just use your standard profile/user to play them, you only need the other one to purchase the game from the different region.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,183 ✭✭✭deadl0ck

So just bought the $50 code from Play Asia and I've already got it - will use it tonight whenI get home :)
    Isaac here I come.....

  • Registered Users Posts: 55,469 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

It's such a great game. I haven't touched Zelda since Tuesday.

I feel like I have to set aside at least an hour for Zelda, but I can squeeze a couple of Isaac games into 30 minutes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,485 ✭✭✭✭Banjo

    Does Isaac have multiplayer?
Also, is it in any way visually disturbing / unsuitable for 5-8 year olds?

  • Registered Users Posts: 55,469 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

Yep, one person plays as Isaac and one as a helper.

It's dark enough to be honest. Strong religious themes and poor parenting.
Lots of cartoon blood, disgusting creatures and poop. :)

Watch this video (showing the intro) and see what you think. Also look up YouTube for some "Lets Play" videos.

Personally, I don't think it's suitable for that age group.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,485 ✭✭✭✭Banjo

I'll be the judge of that, thank you - After 8 years of me and 5 years of her sisters my eldest is inured to bad parenting and poop.

Just home now and I keep getting an error trying to link my new account I set up for the US eshop. I can't get on to my normal account's eshop either.
Anybody else seeing an error with the regular eshop? I'm wondering if it's a Nintendo issue as I was able to play a trailer for a game in the news section, so I'm connecting to the Internet ok I think....

Edit : just noticed that other people are reporting the same in the other thread. Must be server load due to Splatoon test

They had enough trouble supporting Splatoon on a console everyone hated, they haven't a hope with one so universally adored 😀

Everyone didn't hate the Wii U, most were just indifferent. And the Switch isn't universally adored.

Still can't get into eshop. Anybody else also having issues?

  • Registered Users Posts: 55,469 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

I just checked my Switch, deadl0ck. The EU and US eshops are both working fine for me.

Aren't you getting your body swap movies mixed up. Of course you mean Vice Versa with everybody's favourite (at least top 10) Judge and Savage

Well, it's been very well received, with a handful of caveats, as opposed to the WiiU, which was great but a lot of people weren't ready for it. Hardware didn't matter, the software library was outstanding, and hopefully the Switch will have similar AAA 1st party content. The 3rd parties will do some heavy lifting too, we shall see.
