CS350 won't clear "mains fault".

Would greatly appreciate any help please. I have an CS350 (I think) where the battery has been missing for years. Bought a new battery today and installed it but the button panel keeps whining with a "mains fault" and it won't reset when I enter the code or even the master code. Would be very grateful if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.

Is it displaying the log of the last event or showing a mains fault?

Have you set the alarm and then unset it?

Thanks for the reply. No it's just showing mains fault. And I hadn't set or unset the alarm. I've tried to clear the fault and tried both the correct code and the master code but nothing is working.

You may need to do a power cycle, mains and battery to see if that clears the issue
