A dozen messages were read over the loud speaker in an American accent telling people that if they removed phones from their pocket, they would be 'immediately removed from the building'. There were guys in the aisle of every row dressed in black with laser pointers staring intently at people throughout the gig. You'd swear she was just after receiving an assassination attempt. Was expecting to Kevin Costner in the wings any second. Kevin James gig was the same, and every single support act kept reinforcing that we mustn't take our phones out. 'Even white people' - hilarious. But it's more understandable for comedians I guess as you don't want knew material showing up online the night after your first gig. Adele is not usually the worst when it comes to cameras tbf. There is tons of footage on YT from her gigs shot by fans and so it's clearly not something that either her, or her record company, are all that bothered about, unlike many other artists who have stuff pulled from YT within days of it appearing. Here's some highlights of her gig at the 3 from way back in the seats and you can see that many camera where held aloft throughout the gig and she didn't mind in the least. Camera on a fcuking tripod is taking the piss in fairness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVRrFP6Ggi8
