Sanchez probably the best option even though good chance your rival will do the same.

The FFIX algorithm team for GW 38 has Mata instead of Tadic

That's put a sliver of doubt in my mind but gonna ignore i think and press ahead with Giroud & Tadic in for Lanzini & Sturridge

It's interesting as i was looking at options last night and Mata was appealing to me. I had briefly considered him for DGW37 and hadn't realised till last night he scored so well with 16.

Here's my final week predicament. Person I am chasing is 6 points ahead of me. We will both be captaining Sanchez I presume. We will both have probably 5 of the same players playing (he used wc in recent few gw). Of the remaining players, 3 of the players are from the same teams, are same position but different players (eg. two chelsea mids, etc). That only really leaves a big differential of 4 players, and tbh his are better options than mine, namely his goalkeeper and defender. I do have aguero though which he does not, and city are still playing for something (he is relying on 2 city players to keep clean sheets). Is it worth taking a -4 to try create some differential?

I would like to get giroud in but would mean getting rid of carroll or martial, (West Ham pushing to try finish 5th) and possible coutinho (don't see him playing 90 minutes with europa league final wednesday), but that leaves me with either Robles or Darlow in the sticks, Robles probably won't start in Howards last game for Everton, and Newcastle relegated against a spurs team chasing second place.

Edit: Swapping Carroll for Rashford would allow me upgrade Coutinho to Ozil, or upgrade my keeper to anyone. Really don't see coutinho doing much so don't mind getting rid of him.

If I didn't have three Arsenal players already, I'd be considering getting in Giroud and captaining him. He played really well in the last game and is a very streaky player. No competition up front so guaranteed starter.

Not so confident in my current captain Sanchez who is not in the best frame of mind it seems. But it's Villa so I have to!

Nine points ahead in my league, thinking of getting Defoe in for Carroll just to cover second place off.

I'd get rid of Martial rather than Carroll. That stoke keeper is awful.

Getting Giroud makes a lot of sense.

Don't keep Coutinho as he won't play.

Buying Long may help you get KDB - not sure about your cash flow.

I'd leave Darlow in rather than take a hit.

I wouldn't buy Rashford.

I'd also captain Agureo all day long over Sanchez.

I'd just captain someone your rival doesn't have or won't captain. No point in making it a 30 pt lead. With a bit of luck he may take pts hits to help reduce your gap.

So after a disasterous first half of the season (everaged 1 to 1.5 million OR, I’m up into the top 100K and have managed to get to the top of my work leages. Thanks in no small part to the advice I got on here. So one last week and I’m 17 points ahead of second place (50+ ahead of third). I think I have him but any advice would be great. I’m thinking of Long/Rashford in for Carroll but should I just go Deeny and block that instead? Other options were getting in Tadic for Mahrez but not sure that’s worth a -4.

Bit of advice please.

Have a 14pt lead in a mini league. My team is:

Hennessy/Robles
Evans/Bellerin/Delaney/PvA/Darmian
Payet/Sanchez/Lanzini/Townsend/Mahrez
Carroll/Aguero/Deeney

Had planned to use FT with Carroll to Kane as a block for closest rival but now thinking to use the FT and take a -4 hit to get in Degea and Smalling as my defense is in tatters with rotation/injuries. Rival has these 2 also so also a blocking move. Any other ideas. Main differentials are he has Hazard and Kane.

Anything else obvious that I'm missing ?

I'd bench Defoe (as he's your cheapest striker for Townsend) - Sunderland prob celebrating the last few days and Watford will want to put in a big performance in Flores' last game.

I'd transfer out Carroll and Kane. If Carroll couldn't score against United's midget defence then he'll not be scoring when Shawcross is horsing him round the place for 90 mins. Spurs are a much weaker and less creative side without Alli and Dembele. Kane has looked frustrated and resorted to shooting from anywhere on the pitch. Also Newcastle will want to perform for their fans in their last PL home game for a while.

I'd definitely get Martial in as it'll be all out attack against a tired and leaky Bournemouth defence. Giroud would be my other pick but you already have your Arsenal quota. Obviously Aguero if you have the funds but failing that someone like Long (home to a Palace side who'll be minding themselves for the fa cup final) or one of the 2 Watford strikers (for reasons already mentioned above) would be my pick.

Lads what are our thoughts on Kane? Will he do damage this weekend I wonder. He is differential for me but tempted to use him as bait for my Giroud transfer instead of Carroll. Mainly as I will not have to take any hits

The chasing/blocker moves are really annoying me this week. Had a quick look around me and wrt defenders my Smalling and Kosc is not gonna cut it as a lot have double Arsenal or United and an odd one has both. I'm thinking of benching Smalling and hoping Bournemouth score.
However the Wat/Sund match is weighing heavily on my mind. (Gomez Mannone PVA Deeney and Defoe) and whichever way I go will start the dominos falling and decide my starting eleven and transfers.
