Installed today, no issues at all, done the upgrade via the Solo2, extension with Kodi can be installed, any good sources for Movies?

A lot of info can be found on page 24 the last three links in jays post .

Blackhole tv heads for live tv with in kodi can be found on page 23 and link for how to not sure if these are lastest .

Also install Ares wizard use orroco wizard from feeds runs well on solo2 his home forum is openvix and thread is there for feedback .

Ok anybody thats havin trouble connecting to there box .

Just google dreambox control centre go to his home page and download 141 works Dcc 298 works also extend control centre 1.2 and Vu+ control centre v8 works aswell .

Been usein filezilla and putty which will also do the job well .

Also google putty download said file for changing your password if needed.

Start putty in host type your isp 192.xxx.x.x in also click on Telnet symbol the click open black scren will open type in this

root then click enter / ok
.
Then type in passwd hit enter again .

Now type in your new password [your choice which will be invisable but its there don,t worry .] hit enter then retype your passwd again hit enter/ ok .

Then type in exit [ no caps on ] hit enter again job done .

This is just a how to for anyone starting out .

Seasoned users you don,t need me to tell yea you know yourself how to lock your box down.

I also recommend Winscp (change protocal to "ftp" for linux receivers), hasn't let me down yet.
+1 for putty for telnet.

What picons sets do most people use here on their solo2? I just installed openatv on a solo 2 but having trouble getting the picons to show,not sure if its something to do with the service references or what...

I know what not to install LCD PICONS. They crash the BH anyway. I use mmcmedia

Hi folks brought mt solo 2 to parents for weekend... Struggling with tuner configuration. One coax from quad line lnb... How should I configure tuners? Search seems to suggest connect to lnb 2 connection on solo and configure tuner b as simple 28.2 then loop tuner a tuner b

I would just configure one tuner if using just one lnb input, set it to simple and 28.2 and then the free tuner just set it to not configured?

So I've connected to socket on back of box that says lnb 1 input... Tuner a configurator simple, mode single sat 28.2 diseq no.. Keep getting service unavailable check tuner configuration... No issue with satellite all channels work on Ariva box

Did you try re-scan channels with autoboquets maybe?

Are you sure the lnb is working correctly? Have you enabled Disque?

I've never used a blind scan but the fact it found channels would suggest it is getting a signal from dish and all.

I just use autoboquets or whatever to configure it to pick up the 28.2 channels and run the scan with that.
