eddie73 wrote: » ?? Suddenly Conor McGregor cares about mental well being? He is the greatest trash talker I have ever heard. He doesnt care about mental well being. Not of others anyway. I still think that it would be no trouble to him to turn up and do press conferences. There is a load of time between now and the event. All the others are doing it.
lougal88 wrote: » He made his bed. It's part of the job. I'm not pushing anybody, very much doubt Conor is on boards :P
lougal88 wrote: » No, but the press conferences and trash talking certainly helped. IMO Aldo was beaten before they stepped into the octagon. He fought with emotion, wanted to tear into Conor and unfortunately got caught. I do hope this is resolved and somehow Conor is back on the card. But the first fight was 6 weeks ago and ufc 200 is 10 weeks away. That's 16 weeks. Surely more than enough time to get a good training camp in. IMO he's making excuses. It's easier to sit at his computer and tweet witty responses rather than sit there opposite Nate and answer to his "I made you tap Mother F**ker" comments.
JustTheOne wrote: » Yes of course he cares about his mental well being. Stupid question.

XsApollo wrote: » Whatever happens now happens, If he doesn't fight at 200 then it's a mandatory title defence or strip him. He had a lot of leeway with the belt IMO. They gave him everything he wanted to try and become 2 weight champion. The title shot against RDA was fair enough, 2 champions fighting. To have his wish of a rematch against Diaz granted and headlining 200 was bollox, he should be defending his belt if he is fit to fight and then he doesn't bother to show up. Whatever the reason is ,he surely knew that these pressers and commercial were on the card and must of agreed to them? UfC200 is 3months out so plenty of time for a camp, so that reason is bull, Maybe he thought he could get away with it because they wouldn't have the balls to pull him from the card and now they have. So back to 145 where he never had any intention of returning to IMO. If he beat RDA he was vacating the 145 belt which would of been a pussy move itself. I think Dana knew that and was accommodating him get the 155 belt to keep the train chugging along. Now he shot himself in the foot and back to 145 where we see what kind of a champion he is ,Winning the belt and running off never really proves anything lol. Anybody can get knocked out or get lucky ( I'm not saying he has , I like Mcregor) But there are a lot question marks in his run to the title. Great champions defend their titles which he hasn't done yet and should of been made to.
J Mysterio wrote: » But they also look stupid for hosting a weak ass PR gig for ***UFC 200*** where the only topic is 'why is McGregor not going to be there?' Dana just squirming. 'I wanted it' he says. Whatever about Connor being selfish or egotistical, the UFC shot themselves in the foot and have managed to ban their biggest star from their flagship event. 'they want fight, the fans want them to fight, why not let them just fight?' What a cluster****.
Augme wrote: » That's more Conor's fault than UFC/Dana. Without Conor it was always going to be a weak ass PR gig and Conor was the one who didn't show up.
