Right lads, the thread title says it all, this is for any general chat you want to have with each other than anything related to Spurs that is! Movies, music, travel, work, whatever you want to chat about is fair game, apart from as outlined below...

Couple of guidelines:

1. Please no talking about other football, there's a forum for that (see the link under my username

) and I don't want to invite non-Spurs punters on to this forum to start arguing about other teams.

2. All of the usual rules in the charter about abuse, legal stuff, porn etc etc still apply.

3. No whinging about other forums (their users, their mods, their reason for being and all other stuff) on boards, leave that sh1t at the door.

Other than that knock yourselves out.

The second name on my team sheet in the PL this season will always be Dembele.

Best midfielder in the league this season IMO. Easily better than Payet anyway.

Took a while to find his natural position, being played out on the wing at the start of the season. Could easily been sold.

Seems to pick up a lot of niggly injuries, that would be my only concern.

He's a monster on his day, players bounce off him. Never been a prolific goal scorer.

I'd say without Dembele we'd be about 10 points lower than we are now. If Dembele is playing and having a good game this Spurs side really flourish.

It's a sorry state of affairs for Arsenal fans at the moment. The only thing they've got to shout for is Leicester winning the league ahead of us.

I guess we could all feel sad at missing out on the league but I could think of alot worse things happening, like for example it being Arsenal in Leicesters position.

Look on the positive side I guess. First time in Wengers reign as Arsenal manager that we get to witness our Spurs side finish ahead of them in the league, whilst playing the sort of football that put Wenger on the map with Arsenal in the first place.

Here's hoping Pochettino can emulate Wenger's first 8 years at Arsenal with Spurs.

Completely agree. So many non Spurs fans came up to me asking if I was disappointed. I said "he'll no, I was delighted".

We didn't throw away the league at Stamford Bridge. Though we did show the rest of the league that we're not typical old soft Spurs anymore.

Having 5 teams in the champions league will most probably help the coefficient too.

Added drama but at least now City have more to play for against Arsenal. If City beat Arsenal we should be good for 2nd.

I might be wrong here but say we win our last two and city win their last two which leaves the prem 1-2-3-4 Leicester, Us, City, Arsenal, then liverpool go on to beat sevilla, am I right in assuming its only 1,2,3 and liverpool that go on to the champions league next year?
