Paid subscription - not a subscriber

I paid 1 Month Non-Recurring Subscription on 7th March @ 12.20pm. Received a paypal receipt. This morning when I logged into boards, I see that I'm no longer a subscriber and don't have the option of becoming a member of the "subscriber" group. What's the problem?
