The milder weather towards next weekend is giving me Spring vibes! What does everybody think what Spring will give to us?

A Spring like 2007 / 11?

OR

A Spring like 2006 / 13?

My predictions

March - Very dull, cold and wet. - Dullest March on record
April - Very cold, dull and wet. Potential cold snap. - Coldest April on record and maybe dullest in over 24 years
May - Average temperatures but sunny and dry. - Nothing remarkable

^ I hope not! LOL

Mars Bar

We must be in a bubble here in Tuam today. Not an ounce of rain and some blue skies to be seen! Down the road in Athenry, two cars have crashed because of the water on the road and they had snow this morning. It's very, very strange!

1.6C here now but the showers have avoided us. Light hail earlier is all we got earlier which was nothing.

This graph in the attachment shows Grange's Summer 2014 temperatures (and rainfall) and you can clearly see where it hit 25c or more. Actually no you can't haha, sorry. That is because of how high the August rainfalls were.

Same here in North Meath, escaped a mighty hail shower earlier by about half a mile, while the sun kept shining here

Neither can I wait for this Summer! Hopefully my prediction comes true of saying this:

June - Sunny, warm and dry but thundery downpours from time to time.
July - Warm, sunny and dry. The driest July for many years.
August - Relatively wet but warm and sunny.

Accuweather is being quite intresting at the moment. It's telling me that theres currently a thunderstorm at my location, and that snow is starting in 65mins.

I just drove back though it a while ago. There's still garda on the road with the flashers on trying to slow people down. It's quite bizarre, there's nothing on the road until you get past the topaz garage then for about 500 meters there's a fairly decent bit of snow on the road, then nothing when you reach the garden center. Reports say it was a five car accident earlier.

Similarly in Corofin North Clare,outside the village was slightly slushy.
When I drove through the village earlier there was around 2 inches of hail.
Then over the bridge was just wet,almost like a burst of hail in one spot.

The difference in the amount of wintry precipitation between West and North Clare is quite amazing.

I spent the afternoon in south east Clare and it was sunny and dry, and the only precipitation was about 100 flakes on woodcock hill, from there I could see showers everywhere else.

The rain is just starting in Limerick. Reproofed my raincoat yesterday, hopefully it took as will be needed.

There is some tail to the system,looks a bit like a seahorse.
