Spring Weather 2016

The milder weather towards next weekend is giving me Spring vibes! What does everybody think what Spring will give to us?

A Spring like 2007 / 11?

OR

A Spring like 2006 / 13?

My predictions

March - Very dull, cold and wet. - Dullest March on record
April - Very cold, dull and wet. Potential cold snap. - Coldest April on record and maybe dullest in over 24 years
May - Average temperatures but sunny and dry. - Nothing remarkable

Wow only July 2014 and 2013 since 2007 have recorded 25c or more.

Blowing it out of proportion would be in any way suggesting that 25 degrees in Ireland in July is anything other than unusual. It simply doesn't happen regularly. Ok I don't have stats but I'm sure someone on here can settle this. I'll stick to my original statement our seasons are becoming increasingly blurred.

What was your favourite Spring weather wise in your lifetime? For me it has to be 2011. April 2011 was literally Summer with all its sun and warmth and March was perfectly dry, sunny and mild. May was typically showery, sunny and mild here. Overall, the Spring was just as perfect as can be.

From reading MT. Cranium's Forecast in July 2015, I gather the following days as possibly days where 25 was met or exceeded.

1st July - 3rd July

Disappointing, but you cannot disprove a theory with weather examples from one location!

1547 update, still more or less the same, horrible day in the south tomorrow,
further north the better

Rain arriving in southern counties around dawn on Sunday will spread throughout the southern half of the country during the morning. However, further north, it will stay mainly dry for the day with some sunshine in north Ulster. Rain in south Munster will be persistent and heavy, though, leading to localised flooding there. Fresh to strong, easterly winds develop also, with gale gusts in the south. Feeling rather cold; highest temperatures 7 to 10 degrees Celsius.

Completely white now in Castlebar, half an hour straight and counting of pure hail, over an inch has fallen already.
