Here are a couple of good official accounts. They feature bodycam's and in car cams. Plenty of ambulance escorts. Even a few pursuits. There is one where the officers fire warning shots into the air.

Re the Dutch police, I love how most of their regular fleet is VW Tourans and passenger Caddy's!

Those Saabs were not solely on traffic, there were a few normal patrol cars also.
Not to forget the Bedford vans and the Daf trucks.

Superb I've seen at Harcourt Place. A4 would be Ministerial I'm guessing. And there was a 3 series out in West Dublin traffic at one point.

Saw a ton of 2004 transits beat up to bits in convoy along with a few cars out the wicklow direction must have been a few raids going down.

Seen two transits today 152 and 161 in store street today theyve got cameras fitted front and another cam at the rear with strentghten plus reenforced windows and doors.
Not sure about the massive black window on the side though. Ive never seen such a plain public order van.

the cars are not reinforced.

Look at older focus and mondeos and you see most have an extra film put on inner side of glass as to stop windows smashingg in like window tint but clear.

I'd still want mesh covers in difficult situations. That smash 'proof' glass can only take so much..

Car windows are the same on the i40's etc..from what I seen anyway

That Garda 4x4 from the 2001 image, or one very much like it (Nissan Terrano I believe?) is still attached to Swords or perhaps Santry/Ballymun. Very frequently seen round here.
