The bookies aren't giving away much with the line set @ 12 pre game but I'm gonna wait and see does any value come about in play. May interest a few others here also.

Finished with a count of 12, not much value developed in-play, bookies kept it tight so didn't go in on anything.

Will be looked at again next day both teams are out.

Sparta with a home record of 14-1-0 this season are @ 1.95
Should have been 15-0-0 but for Fortuna surviving 30+ shots on goal and 1-1

If results in other matches go their way, a win for Sparta could win the league tonight and they' ll be back in the ere divisie next season.

BTTS No. 11/10 Paddy Power (Best Price).

The bookies can't really seem to decide or agree on this market with whole host of them going odds on 10/11.
Wanderers have scored in all their home games this season with 5 clean sheets in 12.
Mariners have no clean sheets in 12 away and scored in 10.
Based on those figures BTTS would be a betting proposition.

However when we look at the previous fixture history it becomes a bit more blurry.

These sides have met 13 times and BTTS no would have been a winner in 10 of those and amazingly all 7 when the Wanderers were the host. Indeed all 7 went under 2.5 with a pair of 2 nil wins for each with three scoreless draws.

Smaller stakes on Correct score 2 - 0 15/2 BetVictor.

Given Mariners away scoring this season and the A league in general this bet could fail very quickly but still worth a chance in my opinion.

I don't really understand this? Games can take a life of their own, every game is different and pans out differently. I don't think studying the form, especially when it comes to BTTS is beneficial.. There's a reason the odds are almost evens for BTTS markets, because it's almost a toss of a coin. Takes one slip or goalkeeping error for a goal, only takes a split second for it to happen.

So you are saying that previous history and stats shouldn't be considered?

I felt that the 11/10 was value when most bookies were odds against.

As regards slips and mistakes, fair enough I suppose, the Mariners did score from their only chance indirectly from a defensive lapse.

We all have our own sytems and preferences to relieve the bookies of their money and that is why we use this thread to share knowledge and information.

There will be as many games today that BTTS No will be a winner. I just liked the price in this one.

No joy. Finished 1 nil. It wasn't for the amount if chances each team had but some woeful finishing. That's only the 5th time out of 20 in this fixture this bet has failed. Still a value bet in terms of probability. Would back it again next time.
