Thinking of getting a Vu+ Solo2 and have some questions.
1. Has anyone used it with xbmc with the VU pvr plug-in and if so what are your experiences?
2. I will be moving from windows media centre and have a large collection of DVD and Blu ray ISO’s and mkv etc, what are the media centre playback capabilities like?

Few tips goto programs then get more pick artwork Downloader fanart this changes view mode .

Also change the time settings to uk or ireland .

Adjust screen size goto system then video output 3rd down video calibration and ajust your screen that suit yous .

And if yous are having a slow weekend try this beta images with kodi 15.2 installed already by mx3L thanks and credit to him and the Open pli team.

The feeds are disabled on theses images .

Now i,ve been usein the solo2 version for the last ten days well impressed with it but you have to remember its a beta image and you put the linuxsat plugin and your go to go .

Solo2 cracking box for the money also got myself a solo 4k off casper at satexperts thanks man about 3 weeks ago great box but its like the solo2 when it first came out early days thing will only get better with this and other Vu+ boxes and we all know how good the solo2 is now . ;-].

I been playing around with this aswell for past couple days the image itself is really good but I noticed in kodi that I couldn't type with keyboard or the onboard keyboard didn't display have you noticed this? I might just try a new flash of it over the weekend see if the problem still persist.

Anyone else tried hyperion 5.1 for solo2??
It was my default image on alien 2 box from the start it was most reliable and fastest of all of them but didn't realise I could get it on solo2 then I just happened on it while looking for something else and installed a fresh image from pkteam and built it up and everything is so smooth and nice.

Only thing I can't get for it is xbmc launcher I can't find it anywhere has anyone any ideas where to get it from??

My little 1 managed to rip the inlay off my remote, the remote still works perfectly just it doesn't look the best, anyone have a link for a cheap replacement, not an OEM 1 as I want to turn the TV on and off with it as well.

Dont know if anyone seen this or not but its a guide to setting up your vu+ remote to work the power and volume and source button for your TV I can't remember where I found it so I've uploaded it to Dropbox if anyone needs it.

Openspa feed fix .

There,s has been a problem on the openspa feeds nobody has been able to download anything from there feeds this will fix the problem .

Just open dcc then goto talent type or paste in opkg update

then hit enter on your pc let feeds download when done .

Back to talnet and type or paste in opkg install wegt let feeds download whats needs then reboot your box and your good to go .

Hi Folks,

I acquired and have been using a VU+ Solo SE receiver since November last year. (A clone, I am told!)

It has been working great and I had all the channels until a couple of days ago.
(Using blackhole on enigma 2)

I updated all plugins by mistake and now none of the channels are showing!

My tuner configuration is currentlyas follows-

Configuration Mode - Simple
Mode- Single
Satellite - 28.2 Astra 2E/2F/2G
Send DiSEqC- no

Whenever I attempt to scan, get a green screen! "We are really sorry... problem with stb software"

I'm relatively new to the world of Satelite receivers Any help in getting me back to where I was would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Also how old is your box have you still got the recipt and how long left on your boxes warranty .

And you say your pondering are you looking to upgrade or are you having trouble with your box as Solo2 is a great little box .

No there's nothing wrong with the box it's 1000% and any test is welcome I'm just thinking about upgrading to the solo 4k it looks a very nice piece of kit

Yea have a 4k myself got from sat experts great box now i hav,nt done the unicable side yet [ summer project ] but usein motor at the moment

Sell Solo2 for 200 its the going rate without harddrive use this in 4k and without extras .

2 is a fair and honest price to be asking .
