MarkN wrote: » First wash in proper daylight so I've now got a to do list! Main thing is a clay (gonna give the clay mitt a go) then a couple of coats of some 50Cal Pentawax. The car must've been waxed recently enough though as there's a deep enough shine as it is. Wheels could do with a clay too as there's the usual bits of tar stuck on. Same for the exhaust tips. Paint doesn't need any correction from what I can see. The mats are in good nick but the OEM ones are €150 from BMW so to freshen it up I might get some. I might do the usual scrubbing brush with some shampoo and let them dry instead though, 150 quid is still 150 quid and last time I did it, the mats really came up like new. The leather got some Chemical Guys leather clean and restore or whatever it's called (mint green color) and that turned out well. I'll get some pressed plates too as I'm not sure if German ones are the way to go these days, I used to think they were a nice touch but quite a few years have passed since we started seeing them in Ireland. Only other thing I'd change if I had the choice are the wheels, I don't know why it came with the pre LCI wheels but the newer 5 star ones have a lot of grey in them so I think they really work with the space grey. Genuine ones are an awful lot of money though.
