It has been re-scheduled to arrive LHR at 13:25. Probably stopped in SNN for a drop of fuel.

Of course there is also a possibilty of congestion on the ground at LHR and maybe best leave G-XLEB in SNN until a more suitable time for it's next sector. Of course there is crew going out of hours.

BA284 is on it's way to LHR now.

BA208 has a slot of 11.54 from SNN and is requesting start up. BA maybe trying for a later slot as we write.

It can be handled at all the airports, just not effectively as with any divert. Especially something with the pax numbers of the 380.

Manchester, no problem it does so already. Unless it's stand is already occupied but MAN have sufficient remote stands.
Birmingham, already handles the 777 and works are underway for the 380 stand. Again, lots of remote stands available.
Dublin, Billie can prob answer that!

Before BA started the A380 commercially they had to set up divert airports. BA accepted DUB could handle A380's but chose SNN as a better option. A bit more leg room one could say. It is the only airport that is BA ready, regardless of the divert type on the island of Ireland.

Anyone have more details? Seems there's a diversion into Snn every second day lately.

EDIT: (Just learned it's medical and it was a Westbound flt. KL 621, AMS-ATL)
