They have and that's why they're voted in. But that's supposed to be the job of the local government and councillors as well they know.

The Healy Raes are not nearly as stupid as people believe and play their electorate like fiddles. They're as crooked as any politician but have fostered a siege mentality for their supporters and have manipulated their PR wonderfully.

Even in their double interview on RTE an hour ago the phrase "above in Dublin" must have featured a half dozen times in 3-4 minutes. It's us and them and they know their supporters have bought into it 100%.

Another complete cretin. I wouldn't put him on the same level as convicted violent criminals though who have been alleged to be commanders of the IRA and linked to horrendous murders and crimes.
