There are a couple of actresses on Orange is the new black who wouldn't normally be up my street but there's definitely something about tgem.

Danielle Brooks (Taystee) and Selenis Levya (Gloria) for example. Maybe they're prison hot?

OTOH Pennsatucky is repulsive but the actress who plays her is gorgeous. I think her being able to play such an ugly character makes her double hot.

Retta, who plays Donna in Parks and Rec is in no way physically attractive yet her voice and her general self confidence are hot.
