For me, the answer would have to be yes.I don't have patience in queues, fume at indecisive drivers, give out about referees, am less prepared to put up with fools at work. When I was younger, I was more placid and prepared to put up with things. Are you different?

I often post in that thread but any of those annoyances are, amazingly, trivial. Something might annoy me and even if I comment on it, I'd usually do it in a fairly lighthearted way. I rarely get frustrated by stuff.

Very short tempered. Have been on medication for my blood pressure recently. I can feel it going up when some rubbish annoys me, really feel like lashing out at people who are in general IDIOTS !!

Absolutely. As you get older you feel more comfortable with who you are and have a far lower tolerance level for idiots and arseholes and others who generally try to take the piss. On the other hand you can relate more to what other people might be going through so in other respects it can make you more tolerant and empathic about things you wouldn't have put up with when you were younger.

Infinitely more laid-back and more so with every passing year. I used to expect an awful lot from others (and from myself) and be quite black and white in my thinking and now I'm much more accepting of others' human-ness and my own. No one is perfect, we all feck up and most of us are doing the best we can with the resources we have. I don't tend to come into contact with too many pricks in my life, thankfully.

The only place I get wound up now is online, particularly the comments pages of online news sources so I have to make a conscious effort not to get involved, or when I drink too much red wine: there's a point of no return for me when I can become a bit ranty.

No not for me or more correctly I wont let myself be that person every time I feel it beginning I saw to myself, chill does it really matter in the grand scale of things.

My husband definitely. I occasionally get a lift to work with him and before we get in the car I say, please don't snarl at bad driving, rant about cyclists with no lights or hi-vis ( maybe he has a point about the cyclists) He doesn't realise he is doing it most of the time, the majority of the time he is driving to work alone so he is his own audience, but it cant be good for you to start the day in ill humour.

I had a friend for about 5 years who was in her 40s who always had drama in her life. It got to the point where I was consoling her over some ridiculous situation every time we met (more fool me). She owes me quite a bit of money and I've been trying to get it back off her (she keeps promising me it's coming - it's been 8 months now - more bloody drama) and sent her yet another message via Facebook the other day as she's taken to not responding to my emails and she keeps her page on public (course she does :rolleyes:) and I saw this meme posted up:

No love, if that's the case, you should make changes in your life and to how you treat people instead of affirming your crappy behaviour with a stupid meme created by some self-absorbed gob****e.

My intolerance of bullsh*t and assholes though is developing daily.

Definitely, but for all the right reasons :-()

I am way more tolerant of good friends and family and their ways and problems because life is very short and you never know what's around the corner.

I am way less tolerant of other people's dramas, first world problems, work issues etc because they are all BS and I have got very good at tuning them out and pretending I don't hear (which I can put down also to getting older :-) )

I find I'm more tolerant in many ways but also more likely to speak my mind if I think something is wrong or misleading. If something doesn't affect me or my family I often let it wash over me. I find though that I can't stand negative attitudes and ranting when I can see right through the bias or ignorance of the offender.

Yes contrarier for 2 reasons
1. Care less and less what people think of me.
2. Priorities change so something that I couldn't care less about 20 years ago is more important now to me. Therefore 50 year old me is incensed by something 30 year old me couldn't give a **** about.
