Not to be too argumentative, but these Energizer ones are made in China. It would probably be hard to find a product like this NOT made in China.

All Christmas stuff seemed to be clearanced earlier in the week at least 75% off. Snapped up quickly once it went from 50% to 75%. Oddly the Christmas cards still seem to be only 50% off. Not sure who would bother to buy them at that price.

I have been searching for one of those Energizer headtorches since it was posted up in here a while ago with no luck. Today however I was in the Tesco in Letterkenny and again couldnt see any, I did spot some brown boxes on the top shelf, way out of reach. I saw an open cardboard box and the corner was sticking up and it was obviously something Energizer. So I cleared a bit of space on the bottom shelf and climbed up and managed to reach it. It was a different Energizer headtorch, perhaps its going to be the one to replace the ones on sale. Anyway I brought it down and got it price checked and then bought it for €4.90. I know its a lot more than the one mentioned here, but its still way cheaper than it should be.

Its a much better torch too. Instead of 20 lumens, this one is 150 lumens and is certified waterproof and drop proof from 1 metre.

Looks great. Can you adjust the angle of the lamp too? I was complaining about the 33lm one but having used it for a few hours yesterday wiring in an attic, and shed I found the adjustable angle makes up for the lower light because you can focus if exactly where you want it. I'd get a crick in my neck from the old fixed one I had.
