Insurance for a learner Driver

I will be 17 in September and I was wondering how much insurance would generally cost for a first time learner driver.

I would probably be driving a 152 van, which is registered in my parents name. I'm living in Donegal which might make it more expensive also.

If anyone could help out, that would be great.

If the van is registered in (one of) your parents' name then you will need to be added as a named driver to the existing policy which means the answer to your question can only be supplied by whoever they're insured with. Don't be surprised if you get an outright refusal for a commercial vehicle.
