Why are so many people nowadays rude and inconsiderate

I just don't understand today's society.

I mean, yesterday I was nearly killed by an aul fella trundling along the M50 in a 99D Starlet. I was nearly at my exit so naturally had to get from the fast lane to the slow one in time, and this idiot was so busy watching the traffic ahead of him that he nearly didn't swerve out of my way before I hit him. Then he glared at me as if I was the one who had done something wrong.

And this morning I was in Tesco and this aul granny in her 40s was in front of me at the self checkout. It must have taken her at least 3 minutes to swipe all her groceries through and pay and pack them. So of course I had to plonk my basket on the stand before she was finished and sigh loudly, or we'd have been there all day. Instead of apologising, she actually gave me a filthy look and told me I was 'very rude'

And last night, we were relaxing and listening to some music and the moaner next door came knocking on our door spouting crap about it being 2am and could we please turn it down. So we politely told him to f*ck off, we could do what we liked in our own house and nicely slammed the door in his face. Now he's going around giving out about us and saying we're 'anti social'. He's always harassing us. Last week it was the kids standing on his garden shed roof and throwing stones at his cat, the week before our friends blocking his driveway (where did he expect them to park, down the road somewhere??)

I mean, when I was a child we made as much noise as we liked, played football until 3am and the neighbours were fine about it.

Why are people nowadays so rude and intolerant :mad:

A Toyota Corolla was coming up against me and the driver started insisting that I should be the one to reverse because I was 'going in the wrong direction'. I just gave him the two fingers and mounted the pavement and drove around him. There were some kids playing hopscotch and they could have been killed because of his stubbornness.

The school are nearly as bad. Last year some rude teacher was giving us daggers at the First Holy Communion because we were quietly minding our own business in the church, just chatting among ourselves and being polite enough to get up and go outside every time we wanted a smoke.

And now they've said that only two tickets per child are allowed for the nativity play. Some rubbish about there not being enough seats for everyone otherwise. I mean, last year it was fine. There was plenty of room for the fifteen of us . We just made sure to send my mam along early to put her bag and coat and scarf across the front two rows so everyone would know they were reserved, and we all slipped in quietly just after the play started.

Some people just look for things to get arsey about.

I'm 100% with you on this, my Johnny had the lead last year and we all went to see him but 8 of us couldn't get in, noticed some of the other kids in the play were doing eff all, surely they could be sent off to play in the carpark and make more room for adults?
