Woman arrested at Cork airport for drugs offences. Appears to be travelling with the man.
I reckon the man probably ingested or his possible 'stash' erupted, causing his fit, and ultimately death.

I feel sorry for the person (presumably innocent) who was bitten. As for the dead person and his partner, if it was in the name of drugs then they got what they deserved.

I think the person who was bitten was trying to help the guy who was having the seizure. He was probably trying to stop him from swallowing his tongue and the seizure caused his jaw to lock shut. I don't think it was zombie apocalypse style feeding on the flesh of the living stuff.

People don't swallow their tongue having a fit. It's one of those urban myth type things. In fact the last thing you do is put your hand near their mouth cause they certainly can bite down and cause damage.

So I was told on an Occ First Aid Course I did recently. You just give them space, on a flat surface if you can, and let the fit take its course.

But I am sure in the confines of an Airline Cabin, or in any other environment where there are immovable object, you would place hands gently on limbs or atleast hover them over to prevent the casualty causing injury to them selfs.

It's the security services in the Airport who are responsible for trying to stop drugs getting through. Customs etc. It's impossible to stop it all getting through though, but they do have occasional successful interception.

That's a bit harsh. No doubt a series of poor life choices led him to this point, but that doesn't mean he deserved to die for them.

Wealthy drug barons don't carry their own drugs in their stomach. It's highly likely this guy basically had no choice, and himself or his family were in danger if he didn't do it.
