We've hit 10,000 posts in the old thread, so we've had to call time on it as the hamsters get tipsy when a thread gets that big.

But, the shutters are up & the kegs are tapped for the next round...

It used to be quite good but for the last year at least the selection of bottles has been poor. They seemed to have pushed back on the off-license and moved to being mostly a deli. The do have 2 taps which can have something nice.

Planning on drinking a bottle of Trappistes Rochefort 8 this evening. The only catch is, the best before date was January...2012...

Nope, strong dark beers age really well. If you see any signs of it being opened previously then sink it, but if it's untampered it's good to go

Gneas dingle stout porter. A decent beer with some nice caramel and roasted malts. It's not going to blow your mind but It's very drinkable.

I got it in Dunnes on the Childers Road in Limerick on Sunday, but there weren't many monotype 4 packs left. Mostly mixed cases.

Bought 8 cousin Francis ipa in dunnes in Douglas. They knocked this out of the park. Up with lagunitas and Sierra Nevada for me. Top class ipa for 2 Euro a bottle.

Ya McGargles are in Tesco, but not the new IPA. I've always ignored it when it SV so i'll have to look closer next time.
