Seems most weeks we have a bargain or two from Argos, thought it might be an idea to have a dedicated forum like the one for Tesco:-

Just so you know. The ink cartridges that come with new printers are rarely full. They're usually only about half full just to get you going.

I'd never buy a printer with separate cartridges for the colour.

A lot of the time if one of the cartridges goes empty the printer won't print without having to mess around with the settings even if it's only black you want to print

Doesn't make much difference whether its 1, 2 or 4 cartridges. When they are empty you cant print and have to replace them anyhow.

Some of those printers won't even let you use the scanner when one of the cartridges are empty! This would be a real bargain if you could add a continuous ink tank system. Very cheap printing then.

That's a new level of crazy. I'm gonna buy this printer and a continuous ink system from aliexpress I think. The Mrs is from Asia and they all use those systems out there. Costs next to nothing once you install it.

For a document scanner alone I think it's pretty decent value (the resolution isn't great though). I don't often have to print much from home, but I think for 20 euro it's probably worth it.

I have an epson stylus 535sx for the last two years and it's a grand printer, ya the epson inks are scandalous but i get spurious ones from an ink shop in Cork city for a third of the price and i picked up a load of compatible cartridges in lidl two weeks ago.

Great bargain OP.

I've used this site in the past.

10 cartridges for €15 for that printer and my own current one, though seems you can now pick which of the colours you want to make up the 10, wasn't that way the last time I ordered, wish it was!
