I like it. Not sure about some of the Def especially rose. I've a silimar forward line.

Maybe if it was a guideline, rather than a rule, but yes, I agree.

Also, another useful guideline, would be if people posting up their team gave the reasons behind their selections. Doens't need to be an essay on each player, but it's easier to give feedback if there's a bit of an explation as to why you've gone with, say, 4 x 6.0m defenders.

Nice team, good balance throughout. Personally, I'd go with one of Milner or Hendo instead of Cesc, and use the extra money to upgrade one of your defenders to a 5.5m/6.0m defender.

how are folks taking and importing screenshots of their teams?

I've decided to start the season with this team, got 3m in the bank - and will used that to improve in areas once the season starts - as there is just to many different variables atm, henderson or milner, costa/aguero issue when fit, hazard or fab, walcott v 4/5 other arsenal players.

Ctrl alt print - to grab the screen shot (or command shift 4 on mac)
Hit Go advance
then at the bottom click on Manage attachments
when that window opens, click choose file and upload from desktop.
then open the link that appears and copy the link
then hit the picture icon above your message and copy/paste the link into it so that it comes up in the message.

There may be a quick way but that's how it do it.

p.s. i think ctrl alt print grabs the screenshot - but i have a mac so not sure.

I'm not convinced by Rooney, overated :-)
Anytime in previous seasons, he's done f all when I had him, not consistent enough.

I suppose my biggest gripe is that you don't necessarily seem to benefit from your lack of Hazard. With no Costa, Aguero, Sanchez or Hazard I'd almost be expecting a squad strong from 1 to 15, but it's not really that. Yaya, Cazorla and Fabregas are a combination of what approx 26-27 million? With Hazard instead of one of those, you'd still have between 14.5-15.5 to replace the other 2. Do I think you could replicate Yaya and Cazorla's points with that amount of money if used right? Absolutely. Payet and Mane perhaps.

Interesting how strong you've gone at the back, your GK and 3 defenders should pick themselves every week. Personally though, I'd downgrade one of the 3 big defenders to a Stoke 4.5m defender (seemingly Muniesa should start for them) as they rotate pretty well with Leicester, and invest the saving in either Sinclair or Defoe. You've 3m in the bank but just getting in Aguero will wipe that out pretty sharpish.

If you're planning to play 5-3-2 every week then fair enough, but most people would play 3-4-3, with 3-5-2 and 4-4-2 being the next most popular formations. I'd be downgrading 2/3 of your defenders and re-investing those funds on my midfield and attack.

Should have mentioned it but it's with an early WC in mind, I don't really see the benefit of a strong squad at this stage. A bogey keeper and def can certainly be carried. Costa, Aguero and Sanchez all have big question marks over gametime for the first few GW's and the WC rules them out.

I suppose most of it boils down to Hazard and his price. I would prefer to do without for a few GW's and work him in when the best cheap/mid priced MF emerges rather than trying to guess that player from the off.

O Shea/Martin/Francis/Huth are all 4.5 defs you might consider. Walcott should be ok for GW1 but after that may be a doubt with Sanchez available. Pelle a bit of a gamble but i'm sure you know that - has the potential to score well and S'hampton's opening fixtures are favourable. Personally i wouldn't be mad on your keepers. I'm a Liverpool fan but far from convinced on our defense. I wouldn't be too confident on Newcastle's prospects either. Rest of the team looks solid. Lack of Man City attacking coverage may be a slight worry? Sterling/Silva might be an option or have a contingency plan to get Aguero in?

Didnt know that about Morgan, will ship him out for a bit so.

Yeah I'm liking Southampton and Arsenals opening fixtures, and the plan is to eventually get Aguero in, but it will mean a 2 or 3 player re jig.

i'm Hazardless but i decided i won't be Agueroless too. dropped Azpi to Targett so 2.0m in the bank to do Costa->Aguero after GW1 when inevitably the rush is on to get him in.

Defense i'm a little bit wary of, some risk there for sure, Bellerin and Darmian i'm happy with and will be playing every week. O Shea as my 4.5m as S'land finished well defensively under Advocaat, and opening fixtures are kind. I'm hoping worries over O Shea being dropped prove un-founded, he's club captain and has played almost every game for 3 seasons running, i'll be very surprised if he is dropped, but acknowledge it is a bit of a risk. Targett and Taylor as 4.0 cheapies that should start GW1, after that hopefully a 4.0 starter stands out and i'll be getting him in. Ruddy(me old flower!) and Rudd in goals, cheap as chips and nice opening fixtures. With a bit of luck i'll have a F/T when needed to get in the next gk with a nice fixture run.

Midfield speaks for itself basically. Ritchie starting every week you could say is my weak point, attacking-wise, but for a 6.0m mid i don't think there's any better starting off. Bournemouth nice opening fixtures too. Also they scored slightly more away from home last season than at home so at least i won't have to worry about benched points :P gone with Wanyama as the 4.5 mid. Makes sense. Seems nailed on. Can change easily if this season's Georgie Boyd makes himself known.

Strong up front, i feel. Giroud i think is more-or-less nailed on, though if that proves not to be the case then out he goes. Benteke the most likely replacement. But as long as Giroud is playing there's big points potential for him, kind of hard not to do well when you have Arsenal's mids around you!! Costa for GW1 and captain, most likely making way for Aguero GW2 as mentioned. Kane is Kane and is a bargain at 9.5 i think, it'll take some convincing before i remove him from my squad.

I'm planning on getting him (or Milner) in I need to free up funds for Sergio, I'm starting with Walcott initially.

As a Liverpool fan I'm not overly-optimistic about us hitting the ground running this season, the first 6/7 away games are pretty horrific and we'd need our defence to improve significantly and new players to bed in very quickly. I'm playing wait and see for the moment, but if things goes well I might have Benteke and Hendo/Milner (Milderson?) in my team after 5/6 weeks.
