Brendan Cummins making his debut (?) tonight (first time I've seen him on it anyway), doing a decent job but Loughnane taking over. Speaking of Loughnane, he made an interesting point about Johnny Ryan supposed to have gotten the AI replay last year but Cork not wanting him. Didn't know counties (or perhaps just Cork?) have such a say in things like that.

Lots of good points re the black cards and the inconsistency of who gets black cards and for what.

The GAA/refs need to man up and be willing to dish them out to the bigger name players and at the important times, regardless of what is at stake. Right now, they just aren't, probably because they know they will be skinned alive by the media and supporters if a big name player is shown the line for a black card offense. And its something that we as fans need to be mindful off too.
