In GAA it's become an accepted part of the game. Hurling is brutal for someone winning a free and celebrating, including shouting in someone's face.

From the opening game of the Championship I watched (Donegal vs Tyrone) to last night, nearly every game I've seen has had some element of that rubbish. It's rarely mentioned unless it's completely over the top as it appears to be simply considered part and parcel of the game which is disappointing.

Totally agree, but unless there is a video referee to give frees against such behaviour during the match, or players get reprimanded after matches with match bans, then how will it ever change.

Thought the ref had a good game myself. He didn't fall for any of that embarrassing dive crap either. He consulted with his linemen for that and other situations and generally came to the right decisions.

But as long as gaa is a man v man (as oppossed to attack v defense in soccer rugby etc) game there will be sledging and banter and thus after frees and scores there will be goading etc. Its tasteless but short of mic'ing up the players I don't know what you can do.

And another birdie. Dunne now outright leader. Crazy stuff. I recall when Rose was in contention back in the day (going on 20 years ago now, somehow) and that was the highest amateur finish in decades.

A lot of golf to play yet but hopefully he keeps his composure.

I am enjoying it more now, especially now that the characters are being fleshed out and seem all the more vulnerable.

Still doesn't have a patch on the first season for me though.

Haven't seen episode 5 yet but I'm rather enjoying this season of TD- it's totally different to Season 1 but is enjoyable in its own right. Shall watch episode 5 after work

Funnily enough I've never found Genesis much good, even though people here rave about it. There are a couple of other ones that I use that I've found so much better.

Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence become more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece.

Good grief. No. Just no. The early albums are masterpieces of early 70's progressive rock. When Peter Gabriel left the rot began. The loss of Steve Hackett was the final nail in the coffin. From Rock to Poppy crap.

From works that ran to over 20 minutes, often in segments, each more difficult than the last. Challenging the listener with its unusual time signatures. Music that needed to be listened to. To be explored. To be felt. A mixtures of jazz, rock folk and classic all blended into a heady brew. Music written for the connoisseur.

To 4 minute ditty's written on the back of an envelope that children can sing along to.

An awfully sad tale.

Don't really think so, I'd be comfortable on a 54cm frame he's a 60cm literally a matter of inches, but over any distance its going to tell

On a completely different note, I see Steve Guerdat has been suspended as 2 of his horses have failed doping tests.
He won gold at the 2012 Olympics, and perhaps Cian O'Connor has a chance of being promoted to silver medal if Guerdat gets a stiff penalty and ban
