i was working in this job right .... back around 2006 right.

and they were giving me all this amazing money.

so anyway I used to go off and get loans right, and buy all this fun stuff, you know based on my future earnings.

and then this one day right .... all the work was gone to a call center in India.

and now theres only work for automation engineers. and I'M the one eating rice in a hut now .... hahahahaha

I work in a call centre in Norwich and we've just been told our jobs are
moving to India. I'm so excited! I've always wanted to visit India and
with the salary they pay me I'll be able to live like a Maharaja over

We got an email years ago (in a call centre) that they were opening an office in Manila if anyone wanted to relocate there would be a relocation bonus. One of the guys emailed the management team looking for details on the relocation bonus. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadnt seen the email. The relocation bonus was a 10kg bag of rice. Not paying for flights, or helping find accommodation. Rice.

Ok its not a funny, ha-ha story, but you have to laugh right?
