Looking forward to seeing Brooks, Nick Newell, Joe Schilling, Aldo's translator Saul and a few others. Fairly decent night of fights!

I suppose it was going on so long even if it was so intense in close quarters albeit soft hits that the ref would have been so intent on concentrating on it i doubt he was aware of the clock.

Yeah but people got excited over nostalgia in fairness. Shamrock was ab beast years ago and Slice is past his 'best years', was probably never going to be amazing. At least Shamrock trained and gave it his all, I just wish he could have won

That look dodgy as any fight I've ever seen.
Shamrock's TDs were in slow mo, fair enough he is old.
But he had hooks in and arm under the chin, but not able to finish. It's not an issue of age or strength. If he can deadlift his bodyweight then he is strong enough to finish there when a guy is not defending. And that's before you allow for the 40 years wrestling experience.
