Greece moves to Russia

It's probably logical. The mess that has been made by the clumsy clucks in Washington to take over Ukraine in order to throttle Russian gas coming to Europe has obviously backfired. Russian oil and gas will now be supplied to Europe via pipelines running through Turkey and Greece and Ukraine be damned.
Bulgaria stood to gain handsomely from hosting a pipeline terminal but they fcuked it all up by listening to the EU.

The path of the new pipeline is slated to pass through Turkey and up through Greece and into Macedonia. Is there any surprise that there has been an attempt at CIA destabilisation in Macedonia of late?

Anyway, leaving all that aside. Greece is moving further and further towards Moscow. If the IMF want to bleed Greece then I can't wait to see Russian cargo ships and planes frequenting Athens.

The US alone has enough firepower to turn a continent into dust and is the only nation with a large scale military industry (they produce so many tanks the US Army has just started giving them away, or trying to sell them to allies).

We'll assume that your conspiracy theory is true and the US did shoot down a plane. The theory of the greater good comes into effect.

There was no hijacking on MH17, there was no greater good theory. It was a fúck up by Russian-backed separatists at the least (at the worst, sanctioned or carried out by the Kremlin), and rather than outing the separatists responsible for the atrocity, they denied it and screamed that it was a Ukrainian fighter. No wait it was a Ukrainian ground system. No wait it was a Ukrainian BUK missile fired from a Ukrainian fighter. No wait it was Mary Poppins!

So first its MH17 and now some airliner on 9/11, I was referring to a more similar incident in which a US naval ship shot down an Iranian airliner.
Based on what occured, the US should be sanctioned, even looking it up now, having already considered it, I see that there has been a comparison made by the difference in reactions to each of these very similar events.

Will there be a Grexit because of this? Will other PIG countries see Russia as a go-to man? I personally think the result of all this will be that Britain will end up staying in the EU, to keep their foot in the door now that the dynamic has changed.

I don't think the Germans care much about this. Russia lacks the capital to do anything meaningful, and if the Greeks do start another pull, most of Europe will probably back Germany.

The Russians are clever in trying to split the EU but I don't think anyone except the Greeks/Germans/French (and maybe the Hungarians) care about Greece's temper tantrums.
