Not sure if this for off topic but here goes...

I'm looking at tickets for USA Eagles vs Australia in Chicago, going to buy them as a present. I can't get over the difference in ticket prices. The least expensive is $28 and the most expensive is $219! Is that something common in US Sports?

It'll cost you a grand to bring a family to an NFL game with decent seats. You can get tickets to a baseball game for $10 each in some cities.

Another problem: The only delivery method it's got is "Will Call".

Meaning I have to turn up to the stadium myself to get the tickets. Argh. They offer print at home with a US billing address.

I collected tickets before for a Blue Jays game in Toronto and it took about 5 minutes, but you have to get there a little earlier (at least for their system). Just gives an excuse to drink a few extra pints.

Anyone else heard RTE's coverage of the FIFA debacle? They've got John Delaney talking about Sepp Blatter. He's basically saying Blatter thinks he's an infallible emperor... pretty much exactly what everyone else says about John.

It's just a clip they've got on their news 24 TV channel. Heard it 3 times in the space of 10 minutes. "You vote fornSepl Blatter" would be a good a reason as any to dump Delaney, not that he hasn't provided many more in his years at the helm of the FAI. He is part of the problem not the cure!

Yeh. I've met him a few times and can say he's clearly not sober there. Host didn't really help by talking about his dead mother.

He clearly knew what state he was in before he came out. Not sure why shows do that, if they know why not just say they're sick and won't make it?
