We should do something!

Somebody suggested a Hotel, I think that would be a cool idea! Would love to do that! We all stay in the same Hotel, get settled in, could meet up earlier to grab some grub and just meet, then hang out or do our own thing then for the evening and drinks in Hotel-Bar then for the night!

The fact that we're all there together in one main group and all in the same place sounds more relaxed and I guess easier than having to try find peeps in a possibly-already-busy spot like ya would at a Boards Beers! There could be a cheesy-covers-Band on for the night lol playing karaoke-type-shtuff which may go down well with hotel-drinks!

I quite like that idea a lot whoever came up with it!

I took a break from Twitter a couple of months back with the intention of going back a couple of weeks later. I still haven't gone back to it, and actually don't miss it much. I have met friends through it, though, so it's a positive at least. I do prefer it here, to be honest

I may go back to Twitter soon, though, even though I'm not hugely fussed.

There have been things called Tweetups where somebody will simply organise drinks in a pub, for example, and usually the turnout has been quite good. Well, certainly the ones I was at had a good crowd. It was my sister and brother-in-law that introduced me to the site first of all, and I went along to the first of these with them and took things from there on.

As far as I'm aware, there don't seem to be many nowadays. Maybe there are some organised by others that I don't know. Those that I follow just tend to socialise with those they would know well, rather than entire groups meeting up. Those I got to know are quite sound, which is great.
