Can anyone recommend a small tidy cam. Something that I can put over the mirror. I don't need a screen as there is a video input into the car stereo.
nothing too expensive either..

The mobius appears to be the most popular car dvr without a screen,

or you could get a mini 0801 which is cheap, but an excellent camera (although it does have a screen), it is very discreet.

Sandisk, yes i am sure i have super fine. Its max resolution, i have enough space for it.

I'm having some issues when using the Samsung 64GB (10) card.

I reformatted it on my mac (as per the instructions as it's above 32GB) but still get some write errors when using it in the 0806, some files come out as normal, but some still are audio only files!!

mine all work, its super fine i checked.

I use km player to view mine in full resolution, the built in player compresses it somewhat.

I never used a mac and never will so no idea on that front

They come with a 3m cable, which can be routed down through the A frame back to the cigarette lighter socket.

I bough the extra length of cable with the cam, as I knew I wouldn't have enough to go around the dash.

Hey all, a family member is looking for a dash cam for me for the front and back of their car.

Something that can just be plugged into the cigarette light its probably not an option. Any recommendations?

So a dash cam with a cigarette lighter power supply is not an option?

I believe most of, if not all dash cams are powered by cigarette lighter plugs, except for those that are hard wired in (which still probably come with the cigarette plug)

I don't really care, I use E-Prance dash cams, I just posted the picture as a guide (after a google search for Mobius)

I bought the E-Prance 0801 for £65 last summer and it is brilliant. Amazing HD quality footage.

Just recently my car was damaged to the tune of €600, all the blame put on me until I produced footage from my dash cam. Within days my car was fixed and other party paid for the the damage they caused.

The dash cam had paid for itself almost 10 times over.

Need advice on dash cams as only got my full licence and want to be able legitimately prove that I might have N plate but it was the other person who caused it.

Jesus that's a lot of money for a dashcam. I'd get a cheap and cheerful 0803 or 0805 stick it up and forget about it.

I have an 0801 & an 0806, and to be honest, there was not much need to upgrade to the 0806 from the 0801, as in my opinion, the 0801 is a fine camera.

only reason I went for the 0806 was because I wanted a rear facing camera, and the 0806 was new so I just went for it.

Had it in my Alfa. Outstanding in the dark. Wifi works well and gives you live feed on your smartphone app, as well as ability to import the files. The only thing I thought would be good, would be an internal battery.

Does anybody know how and where to get replacements adhesive pads for a mini 08xx dash cam?
The package contains 2 pieces, but what if somebody wants to move the cam to more than two cars?
I found several sellers on Amazon, they also sell 3 metres rolls of VHB adhesive, but I don't know the difference between gel tape and acrylic foam. Which is the best for this purpose? Is the type for GoPro god for dash cams with sizes and all?
