More improvements to the netcode being rolled out and tested in the CTE at the minute.

Increase in the tickrate is a huge step forward.

His reviews are great, a little OTT but seem unbiased.

Strangely he didn't mention a lot of issues I have with the game.

Single player sounds awful, when will they learn? The only decent single player game for an FPS in 10 years is surely Far Cry, BF players don't need a single player. Such a waste of time.

I'd say a very small percentage will buy premium by the way.

As I said before, this game is a nice curry on a night out but BF4 remains the 7 course tasting menu. They both have their roles but one more seriously than another!!!

I just skipped the first 20 odd minutes of his single player review, already heard and seen enough of its broken mechanics to know it's a joke. Sure let's be honest, including a single player campaign is the only reason they can justify asking for a "Full Game" price.........and anyone actually buys Premium has clearly got more money than sense. I thought the multiplayer review was ok, although it is a little tedious listening to someone being that angry for any extended period of time. As you mentioned though Ken, he did seem to gloss over some of the major issues that have already come up. I can see Hardline going the way of Titanfall and seriously struggling to maintain a decent player base.

Battlelog not recording an assignments progress isn't a new thing but I've never come across it with the Phantom Project luckily enough. Is it resetting every round or every so often?

EDIT: I had a quick look online and it seems you're not alone. A few guys reinstalled Premium and it fixed itself and updated. Might be worth a shot at least

We had a streak of loses last night followed by a streak of wins, but the last game we played was absolutely atrocious.

There was a clan named "NOX" who managed to get into the out of bounds area at our spawn and mow down anyone coming out. This doesn't sound like a massive issue until you realise that the map was Operation Locker and they already had A, B and C.

However they got up there they had an entire line of sight from our base to outside of C (Which also had 3 snipers from the enemy team up there). There's been a roof glitch on Locker for the last few months now so I'm guessing this is some form of extension of this since they go "above" the roof.

The guy on top of the leaderboard from Op Locker from NOX was this guy:

I have reported him but i think the more people that do report him and mention NOX the better. I don't mind players finding legit ways to gain the upper hand but that was absolutely ridiculous last night. I hope the whole clan gets banned, probably won't happen but you never know :mad:

Unfortunately not. I tried to record using the share button but it didn't work. And a couple of times last night BF4 crashed, as well as Battlelog not working the majority of the time. You would think by now they would have these problems fixed...

There's Youtube videos of people cheating on PC and DICE/EA does absolutely nothing about it even though they have the proof then and there.

Now that Battlefront has a release date and Hardline is out I doubt they'll make much of an effort at this stage.

I reported them anyway. Looks like NOX are a fairly successful competitive clan full of the usual tryhard Medics, yet they still decide to glitch to win rounds against casuals.......bless em

Well they won't be around much longer as a "successful" clan if they think they can get away with crap like that last night. To be honest i think they resorted to that as we were on one decent winstreak. Ourselves and another clan called GROT were beasting. So maybe in a twisted way that was the only way they felt they could win.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were a "clan" full of hyper 12 year olds though.... :pac:

They actually have some shockingly high stats. It's a bit embarassing that they had to resort to that though, undoubtedly just to protect their W/L ratio. I was looking at the battle reports, you'se were hammering them:p

I'm sure not all the players in that clan are like those last night with them stats. But it makes you wonder how legit those stats are if they (some of them at least) do resort to crap like that. And the one guy i mentioned previously in another post he was doing very average until that Locker glitch round, then went and got over 40 kills...

I'm always suspicious of anyone that has close to 70 service stars for the Assault class and less than 5 in every other class. You can normally spot them a mile off as well. Stat padding is rampant in some competitive circles. Not saying they're bad players, but they inflate their stats to ridiculous levels and then get butthurt when randoms stomp em.
*I've a guy on my friends list with nearly 1400hrs in BF4 but only plays on 24/7 400% Locker only severs, that's how you stat pad boys and girls

While I'm ranting about stats etc, just a reminder to any of the newer guys reading the thread, better battlelog gives you access to more information and stats etc on your Battlelog page by syncing your profile with the BF4 Stats site. Free to download as well so it's a win win.
Or simply checking out BF4 Stats itself is always an option.

Here here on the comments re medics. Please god othere will be a day when DICE remove ARs from medic class so that this class doesnt have the best guns and gadgets.

Side point... I must say that Heist mode is quality. It is a great idea and implemented well and is Hardlines saviour really.

Without Heist I'd give the game a miss, it is that crucial to it. Kinda the Rush to BC2.

I just hope the Assignments aren't as ridiculous as pervious ones. You can very easily destroy your SPM etc going after some of them.
I've seen a few teaser pics online, 4 outta the 5 guns have been identified as far as I know with the next picture being put out tomorrow. One of the guns is a lever action rifle as well so that should interesting..
