I said it before, and I'm glad one of the other queens has now said it publically on the show. Too many girls look the same and blend into one another and that's the issue I'm having with this years cast. No real stand out individual characters. At this stage for the past seasons I could name most/all the queens and their attributes, this year I would struggle with both.

Carson is a welcome change from Santino, but at this point anyone would. He still grates me the wrong way and I'd prefer it if he wasn't a permanent judge and we had either someone else as a permanent fixture, or we had 3 guest judges every episode - or just narrow it down nd have Michelle, Ru and guest judge every episode.

I'm also surprised that Ru told the losing team that they were all up for elimination (now THAT would have been a great twist) but then narrowed it down to two for the lip-sync. In fairness though, that teams performance was woeful. I'm not surprised Ru lost her cool.

I cant get Hola to work on Chrome so i'm not able to see this weeks Untucked and I have to say i'm absolutely raging!

Good episode this week and glad to see Ru lose it with the losing team. They were a mess and deserved worse than they got. Glad that particular queen left. All attitude and excuses and not enough talent to back it up. Good riddance.
Saw a 5min clip of next weeks show and it looks brilliant.

The "Aryan" queens all team up for the challenge and Miss Fame and Pearl turn on each other

My take on the season 7 queens to date:

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT UP TO DATE AS FAR AS EPISODE 3

Ginger Minge: This queen has been the surprise package, not just for me, prolly for everyone. Well, the surprise part may well have worn off as she stamped her mark ALL OVER episode 2 with her Glamazonian Airways challenge. Ginger has real sharp quips and a face that is pure comedy gold. It would appear also that she is very versatile - she can mix it with the other queens, she has comedy skills and you can just tell that she can knock an outfit together fairly handily. I think most would agree that barring some severe setback/extremely sub-par performance, Ginger has got to be in the final three. My pick for outright winner.

Jaidynn Diore Fierce I do think Ru said, I think it was before this season started being aired for the first time, that viewers would be genuinely surprised at who the eventual winner was of Season 7 (which TBF was a fairly considerable spoiler of its own). I initially thought that she meant Jaidynn because having seen her in some of the pre-season promos she came across as really funny and likeable. I think that she will be under pressure pretty soon though if she does not raise her game. She pulled her performance back from the brink in Episode 3, but her inner whinginess and excuse making is coming out. It will take some turnaround to survive more than a couple more episodes. But I hope she does - she is one of my favourites.

Kandy-ho I hate this yoke for the hurtful way that she spoke to the lovely Tempest de Jour, having only met her a matter of seconds. Get rid!! I hope she departs as soon as possible. She is pointless.

Katya After a shaky start Katya is starting to get her act together. Before the season started I would have said that she was a potential finalist but wasn't too sure after the Glamazonian Airways challenge. I do believe that she has some serious comedy chops, plus she is starting to make a recovery which, if sustained, will see the judges root for her. Although I do like Katya a lot, she is no Willam. To be fair, she is a lot friendlier.....

Kennedy Davenport Having seen the performances on youtube I was expecting fireworks if Ms Davenport ever had to lipsynch. She was so underwhelming on the episode 3 lipsynch (she was lucky to be safe), but I have to assume that was because of the song that they had to lipsynch to, which didn't lend itself naturally to the mentalism I have seen of Ms Davenport when she gets going. She'll go soon enough I reckon.

Max Max I find the most visually arresting of this season's crop. But there is something a bit weird about her though, like maybe her accent? She may well be in the finals, but I just don't think she will quite have the punch to win outright. I predict second place.
By the way, this one looks ten times weirder OUT of drag!!

Miss Fame This one got the early kick up the hole that she needed from the judges. She seems to be responding well enough to that though. A far cry from the force that I thought she was going to be at the beginning - her fallibility has really been to the fore of the first few episodes.

Mrs Kasha Davis was my favourite performer in the Glamazonian Airways task, I personally feel that she shaded Ginger Minge. Her camp facial expressions and comic timing are just unreal funny. I predict fifith or sixth for this one. Really surprised by her so far.

Pearl I really like this queen and her couldn't give a fkuc aesthetic, but I think that she trades exclusively on this. In danger of going in the next couple of weeks. I don't believe that Pearl will be able to show any versatility and this will be her downfall.

Trixie Mattel -I dont really like this queens look, but I like her and I think she could be a contender up to the last 6.

Violet Chachki - Who DOESN'T hate this twink? She seems surprised that nobody wants to pick her to be on their team. i think she will be put through to the final to fulfil the role of a hate figure. She definitely has the wardrobe and the naked self-belief to make it to the final anyway!. I predict (an unpopular) third place.

So, although I am appallingly bad at predictions, I've done it anyway. And to clarify:

2 - Max
3 - Violet Chachki (I'm questioning this myself already!!!!)
4 - Katya
5 - Trixie Mattel
6 - Mrs Kasha Davis

11 - Kandy Ho (and good fukn luck too!)

I wouldn't normally bother posting a Top 3 until after Snatch Game but I think you have nailed it although I would put Mrs Kasha Davies in the finals if there is a Top 4 this year.

And yeah...Ginger Minj has this in the bag I think

I wonder if Violet is just trying to be the new Phi Phi - kicking up a fuss for the camera. It's getting old though. At least Phi Phi put her heart into it. Seemed to go downhill from the tartan reveal onwards...

Surprised to hear that Ru said we would be surprised by this seasons winner... so, has she changed the way the show works and it's back to the way it was for Seasons 1-3 with the crowning being done on the main stage? From memory, the crowning episode for Seasons 4-6 were all filmed a few days before broadcast and Ru asks for the public's opinion on the queens and uses that to help her decide who the winner should be. Is this not the case any more? Hmmm...

Maybe they have changed it up for this block of seasons? Seasons 1-3 were their own kind of 'block' where things happened a certain way across all 3 seasons. Then 4-6 came along, some things changed (switch to widescreen, crowning done in a special event) and now we have 7-9 which presumably have changed yet again (new judges, perhaps new crowning format?)

I hope that after Season 8 we get All Stars 2, just like after the first 4 seasons we got All Stars 1.

I can remember the crowning episode for Season 5 where Roxxxy made a point of saying that she had watched the episodes as they were broadcast and they helped her realise how badly she treated Jinkx and made her reach out to apologise to her. So either that was scripted drama for the show, or the crowning episode isn't filmed until around the same time as the season look back episode is being broadcast the week after the last standard episode.

Interesting episode, Max has totally shot up in my estimation, she was really funny in the challenge. Violet, Fame, Kandy and Pearl - boring!! Why are they still there?!!? They add nothing beyond the visual to the teams. Right call was made with the final two and the elimination, she won't be missed. It was great to see Ru getting mad too

I still can't call who might be in the top 3 but I'd like to see Ginger, Max and Katya up there.

Let's just talk about the episode and anyone who hasn't seen it shouldn't be clicking on threads re the show anyway :P

I think apart from the issue with a lot of the contestants looking/acting the same, we have a serious problem with Kennedy, Jasmine and to a smaller extent Ginger and Kasha being a bit snooty to the younger ones. There was always that comedy vs fishy, modern vs old etc., but this series it seems like the older ones are seriously underestimating some of the younger ones. And as past seasons have shown, that doesn't end well for the "oldies".

Apart from Sasha though, I couldn't have seen Tempest or Jasmine going this early. Not really sure who'll be next, but suspisions on either Kandy or Kennedy.

I couldn't watch a leak if it didn't have the full episode. It would annoy me to no end having to wait again, like someone giving you a nice plate of food and you keep the nicest looking/tasting bit until the end - but then the plate gets whipped away from under your nose just as you're about to stick the fork in!

I'll just obtain the full episode tomorrow.

It's a shame given how popular it is on this side of the world that it isn't given a proper television run at roughly the same time as US! They complain about stealing the episodes but we've never had a proper distribution pre-Netflix and that doesn't have everything.

The full leak is available though as I have seen it.
I won't say anything until it is released but I was very disappointed with Ru's decisions.

Apparently the Wikipedia page was updated to show the 5th person eliminated too before it was edited back.(It had details of challenge winner, bottom two, safe etc.)
Sasha Belle has a reddit and the episodes are leaking on reddit... Suspicious?
She also revealed that the Ru trophies they are given upon elimination are not to keep but only for show :pac:

Someone has described it on another forum as like the Ben Delacreme and Darienne Lake situation from Season 6 where Ru definitely seems to have gone temporarily insane and sent the wrong girl home. Argh!

At this point, the only one I hope doesn't go is Ginger Minj. The rest aren't that likable/memorable enough for me yet. I guess I'll find out tomorrow when I obtain the full episode. I'll just have to avoid Twitter and some other forums until I've watched it tomorrow night.

Ru is pissed off with the leaks. She had a mini rant on Twitter yesterday about it and people spoiling it for others by revealing details of the bottom two and who sashay's away on Wikipedia.

Glad I don't do much/any Drag Race related internet browsing until after I've seen the episode and long before the next episode could possibly leak.

Pissed was putting it lightly lol I knew about the bottom two a week or two ago though from a friend who said "there's a rumour going around". I never believed it given the person in question but...alas.

I think the way Logo releases all the material makes people go on twitter etc. looking for streams. It makes it an absolute must for everyone outside the US which I think is promoting all the leaks. Still waiting for Untucked!

Untucked has been up since 2pm on YouTube, it goes up every Tuesday lunchtime. Just watch it on there with a proxy, no need to wait for it on the torrent sites.

Maybe people have seen the episode but I'll use spoiler tags just in case.

Jayden was robbed of the challenge win; her Bianca was insanely good! I thought Kandy did better than the judges gave her credit for. Kasha is not doing it for me at all - the challenge plus dress was all a huge no and I feel like she should have been eliminated this episode in my opinion. I think Katya is being underestimated but it's nice to see her start to kill it!

My brother was saying that (and I'm not sure if he heard this as a spoiler or not) that it would be great to bring back all the queens for Snatch Game and have a twist where the already-eliminated queen who impressed the most would replace the 'still-there' queen in the competition.

Snatch game is also looking to be episode 7 as episode 5 and 6 have had their names announced; feels like very late in the season to do it!

Surprised at the decision of who to send home, thought it was a no brainer which of those two should go. The one who stayed doesn't even seem to want to be there, she's not a winner, the girl who went had a lot of potential. Not happy Ru :mad:
