I think you'll find the song is sung in alot of stadiums in Scotland, be it Killie, Hibee or some other form of blood that people are up to their knees in.

Also don't know when it was last sang regularly at Ibrox, most of us are too speechless at the ****e we're watching!

Peter Lawwell got cornered by the media about Republican sympathies and connections with Celtic during a press conference to launch a new kit sponsored by an American company. As far as I can tell, nobody at The Rangers new board has been asked by the media about a mass display of sectarian singing in the recent League Cup Semi Final. If they're going to question these kinds of displays and songs then it has to be across the board.

For me the line should be drawn at whether something like a banner or a song is sectarian. That UVF banner and song isn't sectarian, The BOTB or ROH also aren't sectarian, but something like The Billy Boys is, and it's not hard to tell the difference. However there doesn't seem to be the appetite in Scottish society, with the FA authorities and most especially with the Scottish media, to really deal with it in a remotely fair and even handed manner.

What? I know for a fact thats never been his viewpoint on that at all and I don't recall any poster on here ever saying that!

I honestly wonder if the people living in Ireland switch off to the media over here at times, there's been constant reference to the idiots in our support singing etc on the radio and in newspapers, just have to read journos twitter pages to see that.

Hell, we've even got the deputy editor of the Scotsman saying Rangers fans infiltrated the Dundee United support to sing the word fenian yesterday! But yet people assume the media only target Celtic.

Perhaps a bit of a tangent but most people I've spoken to, regardless of their opinions of Irish politics, have found Loyalist paramilitaries to be objectively far worse than the IRA. That's not meant as an affront to Unionism either, just an observation of the way way they acted. Not to say there are angels on either side.

Well when Dave King puts in his £30m (before he was involved), or £20m (as things got real), or £10m (when it looked like he'd win at the EGM), you'll be grand. Sure he has a NOMAD lined up (before EGM) or maybe you'd be better delisting (after EGM).
