Just been reading about, says update in Q4, which I asumes means 4th quarter, but I see nothing yet.

Any ideas when it might reach irish carriers?

My 930 has been having a very hard time keeping network connection after the denim update. Usually i'd get low bars at work but now i usually just have no connection. Sometimes have to reboot my phone to get connectivity back.

on a 1020 and same for me. quick search and it looks like its a small update - can add mobile data button to notication centre and eh, that's about it.

If the 925 supports Denim then yes. Not for the faint of heart though. Change to country variant.

eMobile said they are currently testing and will push the Denim update for my 925 before the end of this week.

Got it on my 920 last night. Read online that if you just disable the Developer Preview then the phone will find the update right away. Don't think it really gives anything new on the 920 though anyway? Install took around 20-25 minutes this morning I'd say.

thanks Gog, disabling preview worked for me - got the update immediately on an unlocked (ex-vodafone) lumia 1020. not sure exactly what changes though....

. Definitely disabling the developer preview is required, they're was no sign of the until I did that.

Maybe a stupid question but I have a Lumia 630 dual sim purchased from Germany, with O2 and meteor sims and regularly connected to wifi.

Am I dependent on updates from my Irish isps or should I get phone os updates when they become available in Germany?

You'll get updates based on the model number and carrier variant of the phone - what SIM card you use has no bearing.

So look for Germany / Lumia 630 Dual SIM / Country variant on the list... http://www.microsoft.com/en/mobile/support/software-update/wp8-software-update/availability-in-europe/

Got the denim update on my 920 this morning. Was already on the preview so it was a quick update and I don't think there are any effective changes compared to yesterday. Good to know that updates are still rolling out for a phone that is 2 and a bit years old though!

The newer and higher-end your phone is, the more Denim will benefit it (eg. Hey Cortana, fast Camera startup, etc)

Thank you for that. I subsequently changed region to UK and Denim update began downloading almost straight away. Probably could have got the update by changing to Germany ages ago.

It says on that site that the denim update is out for the 920 on Vodafone but nothing is showing up for me. Still waiting on update 8.1.1 too.

Edit doing something now.

Edit 2 Lumia denim installed now. Was having problems with the phone the last week and did a reset and then the update showed.

Are you on the Preview for Developers program? Try switching that off in the preview App and then check for updates.

That worked for me last week on Lumia 920.

I last checked the list on Saturday and Meteor (=eMobile) did not have Denim for the 925. Just checked now - it did have Denim - ran update and it is installing at the moment

Preview for Developers is still enabled BTW on my phone

That wasn't Denim yet, very close number though. Ran update again, no updates available. Switched off PfD, ran update and installing now. Expect it to be Denim this time. Hope this helps someone else in here.

Very strange ... when I check the Microsoft list, I already have the correct OS (8.10.14226.359) and Firmware (3051.50009.1451.1006) revs, but in Extras + Info it says I still have Cyan installed

I got the Denim update last week on my 920 and my OS is 8.10.14234.375 with firmware version 3051.50009.1451.1009

Vodafone.

Nothing was coming up until I had to reset the phone (had lots of issues). Then I kept trying the update and it eventually worked. Contact Vodafone or drop into a store as it should be available.
