What this 20 quid bought me was to have 2 lads heft the piece into the back room and leave quickly. Still wrapped in lumps and with the "wooden trestle" attached to the bottom. It took me about an hour sawing and rocking to get the thing into where it needed to be. The 3 of us could have done it in a third of the time. This is the third time I've taken delivery of something only to have it shoved 'close' to where I want it, but left packed up and my problem. Since the first 2 times were with a shop known for its "corner cutting", I said nothing, just stopped shopping there, but now this. Am I expecting too much of delivery men? Is that their sole purpose, to get the item in question in my back door, and frankly even getting it into the right room is above and beyond? Or are they taking the p*ss, knowing they can do a half assed job and break for lunch 20 minutes early?

No, we weren't great at instructions, but credit to them for hanging about. I made them coffee and a hot meal and gave them a potato each to take home. Good people still exist.
