I answered it as the OP & her were having unprotected sex, although I probably could have phrased it better as I see now how you took me up wrong. We don't know if she is having unprotected sex with clients or not but even so, there are certain things that condoms don't protect against like genital warts.

It's not just a job. A job involves working and paying tax etc. Prostitution is illegal and for a lot of people the act of sex holds an emotional attachment. So it's in no way small minded to expect your partner to not engage in prostitution and get rammed by random blokes on a daily basis.
