I'm breaking this into two opening posts. One for the rules, the second for the table. Please read the rules and understand them. The last few years we had rocky starts because people tried posting entries that did not have what was needed and it made for some uncomfortable PMs for me. This is for fun so i don't want it to be too serious. The rules are only for your protection and to prevent outside abuse hence the reason i'm sticking to them.
So any entries, from the get go, without the necessary details will not be counted and there will be no "
mulligans" on this.
Competition Rules
We'll keep these short and sweet:
- Competition starts on Saturday the 1st November 2014 and ends Saturday, February 28th 2015.
- All entries must have a dated piece of paper or newspaper, etc in the photograph as proof of what time and date it was shot. Sign it with your Boards.ie username ONLY.
- All pictures must have a gun in it. To prevent abuse by "outside sources". Either beside, or across the game. Please follow this one as we have had instances of photoshopping used to remove the gun, and other objects put in to portray cruel methods used to kill game.
- With each entry please give a detailed explanation. Not just a photo. So for example if the picture has a fox, crow, rabbit, and a pheasant you would write:
1 fox
1 rabbit
1 pheasant
1 crow
[*]Entire animals only. No tails, wings, feet, heads, etc. It must be the complete animal.
[*]Only the required amount will be counted. So if the total needed for say crows is 15 and someone racks up 20 then only 15 will be counted.
[*]Entries will only be counted at the end off each week. Not daily.
[*]No discussion on the comp thread. Only entries to be posted.
[*]In the event of a draw, a points system will be used to decide the winner. Only i will know the points for each animal/species to prevent people focusing on certain game.

Notice to all participants about possible insurance issues:
It has come to our attention that under compensation funds ran by certain organisations anyone injured while partaking in a competition may find their cover void.
Please be aware of this fact before entering into this competition, and if unsure of your cover or simply do not wish to suffer such loss of coverage please inform me via PM, and your name will be removed from the list of competitors.
No discussion of this will be permitted on this thread as this does not effect everyone.
