There were five 50 yr+ people in the nightclub l was in sat night

Never had too many

....though had one and she was as shy as myself...so awkward silence all round....ended up as wicked good friends after...so can't complain really

It's been a long time since I've had to worry about a first date, but if I know we're going somewhere I'll usually put on something that'll make himself feel like it's the very first one again...

I'm a musician so I'm playing at and watching gigs all the time but the last Ticketmaster gig we went to was Ben Howard in the Olympia in December, they gave us a really beautiful performance. It was the second time we'd seen him as we were at Phoenix Park in summer 2013 too. He played the whole new album and one or two really old demos, which was such a treat. I'm so glad we saw him again before he became a festival act, his sound is one which tends to get lost in big venues so the intimate gig was really special.

We're certainly not marching bravely forward into a better and more egalitarian future. We're forever being taken to the European Courts of Human Rights for failure to keep up with our European peers. But in comparison to, say, certain areas of Pakistan and unmolested Pacific Islands, we're doing ok. Yay!
