I've recently become a big fan of lemon tea and other mad teas. Aldi has a great selection of em. I'd say they're mostly consumed by women because when I brought the subject up with a few friends they gave me a raised eyebrow. So now I drink my girly tea alone where nobody can see me. :pac:
Also,
Riesen. They're in most shops but nobody ever buys them. I know this because I used to work in a shop. We ordered in a box and it took a year and a half to shift them. Beautiful, rich chewy toffee covered in dark chocolate that cracks and splinters when you bite into one.
There's a little Pakistani shop on Parnell Street (the one in Dublin before anyone asks "which Parnell Street?"). They get mad stuff in. Like
Wasabi KitKat. . I'm told that asian shops do em sometimes as well. Lovely. The shop itself might be a bit off putting because it's obviously targeted at middle eastern clientele (lot of non-english signs etc...) but the staff are sound. There's a fat guy with a mustache who's always happy on the till. They also have Mountain Dew in a glass bottle that's made with proper sugar cane as opposed to high-fructose muck.
Anyone else eat stuff that most people don't but is gorgeous?
