Now I've had loads of headlights out before in the focus astra older octavia normally a few screws. Golf take of the grill the front wheel, wheel arch liner to get at the screws I was just like fcuk that let it rattle. One day it will annoy me enough to bother fixing it but not yet. I'm more annoyed over my scratched up driver window. I know this maybe a stupid question but is there some kind of cutting compound etc you can get for glass that would take some of the lighter scratches out. Something I could ideally use by hand no machine polisher and get in the likes of halfords any ideas ?

Just needs tightening.Rear brakes are screeching - probably pads There are drums on the rear so shoe lining is most likely worn. Both sides need to be done to keep it all balanced though there cheap items. This would explain why the handbrake cable is so loose. So you're mechanic can do both of these jobs together. I prioritise the important jobs first with my mechanic and do the smaller jobs I have tools for myself. It saves a bit and gain some insight into it. It helps if you have time to do it and it's not bloody freezing.

Knocking from rear left wheel when turning - don't know what that is
That's all that I have spotted, I'm sure there's more, and that's before the NCT is done.....

Noccy_Mondy wrote: » Mondeo's 08. It's the focus that's giving bother, that's 04. Worded that badly. The jets themselves are fine, it's whenever I spray the front window, the rear sprays as well - and it shouldn't, there's a separate switch for that.

Hardly a common issue!?
