€74 to fill up instead of €85... thats how expensive it was at the start of the year!

That's a serious saving. Can't complain with that, noticing lately from a quarter tank it's getting tough to get 50 quid in.

Mine was the same, filled it last week from around a quarter of a tank and it took €58, before it would take almost €70!

It's great to see it drop. Seems like it will continue to drop another in price a euro a litre again would be nice

I put 70 euro In mine last week but there wasn't a drain of diesel left in it I underestimated how far I was from the nearest petrol station. So I'm going to let it run down again this week again and see what it's doing to a tank as it's been a good while since I've checked it. Currently 560km and needle is sitting very slightly over 1/2 tank. But it will start to run down quicker near the end probably get around 900 km to the light.

Imagine how happy I am, bout 350km for 50l in the cold with heated this that and the other on.

Just a quick question my driver door has started to squeak a small bit the odd. Time what is it they use in the garages white spray grease is it. I assume that would be the best thing to use would it ?

Grease the seals, I have to do mine anytime I clean it. Its just the seals, don't go mad sticking it everywhere. Find where the source is and use it there. Just make sure it's silicone spray and not lithium on rubber.

Ah right, presumed you got rid of the 3er. When I had the 735 petrol was up at €1.70 at one stage. I've a pic of a fill somewhere that cost €140! :eek:

We have silicon spray in the shed actually. Biggest problem is it's currently not too easy to get into the shed as my dad decided it would be a good idea to take the key for the door and somehow the spare key aswell to the uk with him for 3 weeks. He's always at that putting stuff in his pocket and going off with it wrecks me and my mothers head. Can't even clean my car next week as I planed at least I have an excuse not to do it now :pac:

It's most likely the top seal, spray it into a cloth and rub it along the top of the door.

Don't do what I did and spray liberally leaving spots of grease all over the seats as that's a pure cnut to sort out........

Well it's not actually the seals that are making the noise it squeaks when it's about 2/3 open slight so I'd imagine it's the hinges sorry I probably didn't explain that great. It is still worth rubbing abit of the silicon on the cloth on all the rubber door seals anyway.

The check strap maybe? I'd use a pretty thick grease on it, anything you spray on wouldn't last long there I'd say.
