I've no idea to be honest! it's as if someone pressed their fingers on it and they all buckled, yknow the kinda ones im on about? it's only around the sides like and one or two in the middle

Probably a bird or stone strike. If it's leaking in numerous places your probably best off to replace alright!

Eflow are great. I had 3 tags from older cars that I forgot about. Racked up a small fee just for tag rental. Posted them back the tags after I eventually found them and they waved the fees. Always sound to deal with

I did on my sons old E46 ci.

Bought it from a supplier on bmwdrivers dot net.

Anyone have any ideas who to use for car insurance for 4 litre plus cars?

My renewal has gone up from €790 to €1200 with my broker and I've done ten other quotes and most are €1500+, for those that do quote.

Did you try any local Insurance brokers there generally good for insuring unusual stuff as they get quotes of a lot of different companies.

I've tried just two brokers and the rest are regular insurers. One broker is €1200 and the other is €1400. Makes no sense jumping to that from €790, nothings changed.

Another ridiculous insurance hike. I've yet to hear of someone who's insurance didn't shoot up this year

but for the car is a bit less valuable and you are a year more experienced. it's hard to justify a 50% increase alight.

Mine went from 625 up to 1160. Got a quote of 650 from another broker so I'm going with that. All other quotes I got were between 775 and 1300.

It's getting a bit ridiculous alright. My dad went to name me on his new golf as it would have been handy for the odd time I'd need to drive it somewhere. Since I was 17 on provisional he named me on his stuff vans his old octavia all no issues at. So you'd think it wouldn't be a big issue as I'm older now and have experience but oh no 1500 odd quote just to be named. Thats beyond a joke needless to say I'm not named on the policy without me it is something like 400 quid which is grand. Since when were golfs high risk.

But his one is a 1.6tdi 90bhp. What did the insurance company think 'Jesus he's only 20 we may ramp up the policy sure he will be out every night racing it' :pac: the thoughts of me pulling up to a red light beside someone spinning the wheels the minute the light turns green bouncing it off the limiter in every gear yep it just wasn't going to :pac: besides it has to be red I before you can felt it up.

I know what you mean alright. My own golf is fine to insure well not cheap but nothing higher than I would expect. I don't know the whole of insurance price seems to be all over the place.

Yup! Last year it was cheaper for me to insure a 180bhp S60 than a 110bhp Passat.
