Just something I played about with a little last season without too much luck. A €1 Lucky 15 on the four top scorers in the league to score first and a fiver anytime goalscorer accum. Not exactly rocket science or reasoned betting, just hoping it can click once. More for fun than anything but going to log it to see exactly what it costs me.

As today is the first weekend of the season I have just picked the four lowest priced teams this weekend and selected the favourites for each of those four teams. Strangely enough, I don't expect most of these guys to be anywhere near the top of the goalscorer charts.

As it's not too serious I'm just going to stick to Paddy Power for convenience. This weekend they're offering money-back if the fav doesn't win the match so have done four singles and a Yankee rather than the Lucky 15. First price mentioned is FGS odds and the second price is the anytime.

I know and it looks like a loss maker but it's the only gambling I do these days and it keeps me amused so happy to lose a moderate sum each week. Will continue til end of season and probably reduce stake at half-way point if things continue like this.

Just calculated that for the last week I had four players which was Aguero, Costa, Ulloa and Chadli. Return would have been €3,356.18. Chadli bumped that up a bit but the other three were favourites on the day if I remember correctly. I'll post potential winnings up when posting bet from now on.

No other word for the start of this season than ****. Only three profitable weeks and sixteen losing ones. Started off this season on -€67.06 or -7.29% and gone downhill rapidly from there. Continuing for rest of season and hopefully make some inroads into the loss - I think at this point even breaking even by end of year is a big ask. Reducing stake to a tenner for rest of the season. Still not doing any other gambling bar the Bet365 in-play offers so happy with discipline anyway.
