    They've done some update work but there are performance issues which have been acknowledged on their twitter account: https://twitter.com/flightradar24/status/534707243921731584

    (Horrible banner ads at the bottom now - oh well..)

    Heard Shannon tower say "Saudi" alright when in contact with them on approach.
    Saudi 11 is a fixed callsign for that aircraft.

    I'm sure that it will pass back through Shannon late tonight.

    Site working fine for me now- map now seems to show how bright/dark it is at a location too

    Edit- FR24 FB page says improvements include...

    * Faster map and aircraft rendering
    * Day/night line
    * Oceanic tracks
    * Possibility to show estimated aircraft positions for up to 60 minutes
    * More airport delay statistics
    * 250 new airports visible on map
    * More side view images for aircraft without planespotter.net-photos
    * Improved support for small screens and touch units
    * Improved route matching
